We cordially invite you to the 2020 Global Health Forum in Taiwan, which will be held from October 23 to 24 in Taipei, Taiwan with virtual component accessible online.

The “Global Health Forum in Taiwan” is an annual event, organized jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health and Welfare and Health Promotion Administration of Taiwan that convenes leaders from the worlds of research, policy, and practice to share ideas and experiences that address the greatest health and welfare challenges that beset our world.

The main theme this year is “Achieving SDGs In the Post-COVID-19 Era: Innovation, Inclusion and Partnership”. Faced with the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the Forum of 2020 will incorporate discussions and examinations into the impacts of the viral outbreak on Sustainable Development Goals, followed by insights on how resiliency and humanity must cope with the post-COVID19 pandemic era, and how the global pandemic has profoundly influenced both the existing and emerging threats to health and well-being worldwide, such as health equity, non-communicable diseases, environment and health care systems.

Please see the attached invitation letter and the event website here for more information. We look forward to your online participation in this year’s forum.

Sincerely,

Science & Technology Division
