Dear CAPASUS members,
After a company picnic event earlier, on my way driving home I made a detour and stoped at Stone Mountain Park. The afternoon is still at summer mode, 87°F, with some savory breeze at the top of the mountain.
I hike up the mountain in search of inspiration of writing this letter to you. Not that I couldn’t find much to say before, quite the opposite. I wished to tell you maybe too much that I needed to find a good place to start. Then, as a lot of things, I find no better way to start by just do it. Nonetheless, the hiking ritual always helps me find my focus.
So, hello dear friends in CAPASUS, in case you have not heard, I have succeeded fabulous Dr. Chuchu Wu and taken up the stewardship of CAPASUS since two whole months ago. Yes, only 10 months left to see each other again at the annual CAPASUS conference.
In the past two months, a core admin group has gradually been established, and a staff meeting will be held at the end of October. A event plan has been established and worked on. I’ll announce these details separately. I’d like to take the chance to show you the post-conference evaluation result, see link below, and welcome two new members just got accepted by our membership review board: Dr. Alice Stanley (魏鳳珠博士）and Dr. Shu-Ling Chen （陳淑玲博士）.
